Consumer Health Data Notice
Last updated · 12 October 2026This is our consumer health data privacy policy for Tracker. It applies to people covered by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and Connecticut's consumer health data provisions, and we follow it for every Tracker user. We never sell consumer health data.
Who we are
Slightly Darker Entertainment, LLC ("we", "us") makes Tracker, a personal tracking app at tracker.slightlydarker.com. Our website at slightlydarker.com does not collect consumer health data. Our full Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Consumer health data we collect
"Consumer health data" is personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health status. In Tracker, that is:
- Substance use: the substances you log (for example alcohol, cannabis, nicotine, caffeine or medication), amounts, times, labels and notes, and your own list of substances.
- Journal health notes: how you slept, your sleep notes and dosing notes, and anything health-related you write in your daily entry.
- Bodily measurements from WHOOP, if you connect it: sleep times and stages, sleep performance, recovery, heart-rate variability, resting and maximum heart rate, heart-rate zones, strain, workouts and calories, height and weight.
- Precise location: your location trail from the OwnTracks app, the positions Tracker records when you use it, and your stops and places. Location can reveal health-related visits, so we treat all of it as consumer health data.
- Photos and videos you choose to upload, which may show health-related information, including any location saved inside the file.
- Information about other people that you record (names and notes), to the extent it reveals something about their health.
- Health-related figures Tracker calculates from the above, such as daily totals and trends. These are calculated when you view them and are not stored separately.
Why we collect and use it
We collect and use consumer health data only to provide the Tracker features you ask for:
- to record and show your own log, map, totals and trends;
- to show your WHOOP sleep, recovery and workouts next to what you logged;
- to place your intakes and stops on your timeline using your location;
- to send data to an AI assistant you connect through Tracker's MCP server, when it asks; and
- to keep your account secure and meet legal obligations.
We do not use consumer health data for advertising, to make inferences about you beyond showing you your own records, or to train AI or machine-learning models.
Where it comes from
- You, when you log, write, upload or edit something in Tracker.
- Your devices: your browser, and the OwnTracks app on your phone if you set it up.
- WHOOP, if you connect your WHOOP account.
Who we share it with
We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.
We disclose consumer health data to these processors, which handle it only on our behalf and under our instructions:
| Processor | What they do | Consumer health data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase, Inc. | Tracker's database and file storage | All of the categories above |
| Vercel, Inc. | Hosting and running Tracker | All of the categories above, while being processed |
| Google LLC (Google Maps Platform) | Maps, address and place lookups, Street View images | Precise coordinates, search text and map views |
| Open-Meteo | Weather for the days you logged | Approximate coordinates of where you were, with dates |
| Redis Ltd. (Redis Cloud) | Short-term cache | Approximate coordinates for weather lookups, kept for up to an hour |
We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data.
At your direction: if you connect an AI assistant (such as Claude) to Tracker's MCP server, Tracker sends that assistant the consumer health data it requests, so it can answer you. The assistant's provider (for Claude, Anthropic) handles that data under your own agreement with them. You control this connection and can revoke it at any time in Tracker under Settings, Access.
We may also disclose consumer health data where the law requires it.
Your consent
Tracker only collects consumer health data that you choose to provide: you decide what to log, whether to set up OwnTracks, whether to connect WHOOP, and whether to connect an AI assistant. By creating an account and using those features, you consent to the collection and use described here. We will ask for your consent again before collecting or using consumer health data for any purpose not described here.
You can withdraw consent at any time by stopping the feature (for example removing OwnTracks from your phone, revoking Tracker's access in WHOOP, or revoking an MCP token) and by asking us to delete the data, as described below.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Confirm and access: find out whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, get a copy of it, and get a list of the third parties and processors we have shared it with (including their contact information).
- Withdraw consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data.
- Delete your consumer health data, including from our processors and from our backups.
- Appeal a decision we make about your request.
We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
